Our admissions team welcomes potential clients with a comprehensive, same-day admissions process that is clinically robust while remaining focused on the client’s goals. This way, clients feel like they are part of the community at the end of the assessment and can confidently begin their treatment journey with us. To best support clients, we offer two locations, one in Nashville and one in San Diego.
Kasey Bradshaw, MA
Director of Admissions & Outreach
BrightQuest Treatment Centers
Kasey joined the BrightQuest Team in November of 2019 as the Director of Admissions and has been a consistent and dedicated presence on the leadership team. In 2020, Kasey was instrumental in modifying our program and admissions processes to continue serving clients in the wake of the pandemic.
In 2022, Kasey began fostering national alignment by serving as the Director of Admissions for both BrightQuest locations. He is well known and respected nationally as a representative of BrightQuest and has consistently received positive feedback from families and referents that their trust in him brought them to our front door. Kasey demonstrates our core values every day, including a willingness to do whatever needs to be done for the betterment of the community.
Sarah Bridwell, MS, Ed.S
Admissions Manager

Sarah joined the BrightQuest team in December 2020 as an Admissions Advisor. She holds a Master of Science in Counseling and Counselor Education from Indiana University and has spent the last 10+ years working in behavioral health. Prior to BrightQuest, Sarah served as the Director of Admissions for a local Nashville facility that provided residential services for adolescents. Her education and experience have helped her in supporting over 70 families into the BrightQuest Community the last 4 years. Sarah’s advocacy and her ability to navigate through complex client and family situations is second to none. Sarah goes above and beyond to support families and clients through the hard task of navigating treatment and the admissions process.
Mallory McDade
Admissions Advisor
BrightQuest Nashville
Mallory McDade has worked in the behavioral health field for more than 15 years, with the majority of that time spent in an admissions role. She has served as an Admissions Advisor for Alta Mira Recovery Program since 2020 and joined the BrightQuest admissions team in January 2024. Her experience in the behavioral health field has prepared her to guide clients, family members, and referring professionals through each step of the admission process with compassion, understanding, and the utmost respect. Mallory holds a Bachelors of Social Work from Middle Tennessee State University. Her education, combined with her own journey to recovery, created her tremendous passion for providing an empathetic and nonjudgmental ear to all those seeking treatment.
Simon Demisiew
Admissions Manager
BrightQuest San Diego
Simon joined BrightQuest in October 2020 as a member of the support staff team, and entered the Admissions Advisor role in April 2022. Simon’s unique perspective from working as a Lead Residential Support Staff team member, combined with his current pursuit of his master’s degree, helps him in effectively communicating BrightQuest’s mission and values to our callers. Families are often in a state of crisis or unchartered territory when they call. Simon’s calm and steady presence helps soothe that anxiety and creates a safe space for clients to express their concerns about entering long-term treatment. Due to Simon’s institutional knowledge and history of direct client care, he has an intimate knowledge of the BrightQuest program and works with clients to help them overcome their anxieties and concerns regarding treatment.
Jake Kagel

Jake brings with him a wealth of experience in direct client care services and treatment center program management within the behavioral health field. He received his B.A. in Psychology from Willamette University in 2021 with a focus on personality dynamics. Jake chose a career in the mental health field due to a desire to make a difference in the lives of others and live the motto of his alma mater, De la Salle, “Enter to learn. Learn to serve.” He believes that authenticity, compassion and integrity are vital for effectively meeting the needs of his clients. Jake’s commitment to innovation and excellence in behavioral health ensures that every individual receives the support they need to embark on their treatment journey. He believes in creating meaningful connections and guiding families through the decision-making process with empathy and understanding.
